Om foredraget:
This lecture identifies the principle underlying the phenomenon of drama, or dramatic action, and integrates this principle with Ayn Rand’s theory of evaluation (specifically her idea of «teleological measurement»). The lecture explains why certain human actions (dramatic ones) are worthy objects of esthetic contemplation, and others not.
An extended version of this lecture was also given and recorded at the 2002 Objectivist Summer Conference in Palo Alto, CA and is available for purchase on the Ayn Rand Institute eStore.
